The Canine IV Training Model (MT00513) is the four-piece basic veterinary IV catheter practice kit for supervised canine IV and venipuncture practice. Its simulated cephalic vein provides blood flashback, allowing learners to repeat the core hand sequence before working with live patients.

How It Differs From MT00521

MT00513 and the Dog IV Practice Kit (MT00521) support the same core practice functions. The difference is the package contents: MT00513 includes the model and three fluid-simulation components, while MT00521 adds a broader set of fluid, catheter, taping, and preparation accessories.

Training Notes

The model has replaceable skin for continued training use. It is an educational simulator, not a veterinary device for use on live animals. Sharps must be handled and discarded according to the training facility’s policy, and clinical procedures should be supervised by qualified veterinary personnel.
